Hi! I’m Ellie
I’m a designer based in Charlotte, North Carolina, originally from a small town just outside the city. I found a love for art at an early age and was always drawn to creative expression in many forms, whether that was drawing, crafting, decorating, or simply finding ways to make things feel more beautiful and intentional. That early curiosity eventually grew into a passion for design and the endless possibilities it offers.
My college journey began at UNC Charlotte, where I explored different paths before realizing that graphic design was where my creativity and problem-solving skills aligned most naturally. I later transferred into Central Piedmont Community College’s Advertising + Graphic Design program, where I was able to fully immerse myself in branding, layout, digital design, and creative strategy. That experience helped me grow not only as a designer, but also as someone confident in turning ideas into thoughtful visual solutions.
What excites me most about design is how broad the field can be. I never want to limit myself to one niche, and I’m passionate about exploring all areas of design and art. From branding and web design to illustration, packaging, photography, and beyond. I love learning new skills, experimenting with different styles, and finding fresh ways to approach creative challenges.
Outside of design, I enjoy slower and more laid-back moments. You’ll usually find me spending quiet nights at home with my cats watching TV, playing cozy video games, or adding to my growing collection of Lego botanicals. Those hobbies keep me inspired and grounded, and they often influence the creativity I bring into my work.
